<image:title>Community Leadership Model - Paradigm of Leadership and Power</image:title>
<image:caption>Power with “Power with” is shared power that grows out of collaboration and relationship. It is built on respect, safety, mutual support, solidarity, deep listening, empowerment and collaborative decision making. Power with can help build bridges within groups and across gender, culture and class differences. Rather than oppression, manipulation and control, power with leads to collective action, healing and transformation. Power within “Power within” relates to a person’s sense of being-ness, self-worth, responsibility and self-knowledge; it includes an ability to recognize individual differences while remembering and respecting the value of the self and others (we are all one, and part of the whole. We all matter). Power within involves an open-hearted authenticity, truth and intrinsic valuing and acceptance of all aspects of the self with compassionate non-judgement. As facilitators we seek to create safety for a collective power enriched by the vulnerable perspectives of multiple experiences. Together our energy and knowledge is magnified through a sense of belonging, inclusion and mutual respect.</image:caption>

She is an artist in all she endeavors - honoring the beauty and awareness of body, mind, spirit, heart and the Natural world. Her respect for the planet and its continual health crosses over to her healing arts practice which provides an intelligent and unique corridor towards the health goals of her clients. <image:caption>“Some of us need a coach, but some of us need a spirit guide to the sacred feminine within. I’m a coach, but in my own journey of personal growth, I found I needed the second. My need has been met in Beth Draper, whom I now visit weekly – for prayer and guided meditation, for a safe retreat in the woods, for art therapy, for yoni steaming, for tea, for Reiki, for loving wisdom. She is a wise woman and a healer. She is an energy worker. She is an herbalist. She is an empath. She is a summoner of saints. She is a colleague. She is a friend. If you need help connecting with your essential divinity, or if you just need to be brought back into balance, I recommend her with all my heart.” – Amy Toscano, Nourish What’s Inside</image:caption>

<image:title>Book an Appointment with Beth - Paul Klemperer</image:title>
<image:caption>“Over the years, I’ve experienced healing from injuries as a physical, mental and emotional process. I don’t necessarily subscribe to spiritual or metaphysical explanations to understand it, rather I just learned to pay attention to what my body and mind were telling me. “Stress,” for example, is a term used by Western medicine, which is simultaneously an emotional, mental and physical factor. But I had to learn what that meant for me personally. I bring this up to help explain my very positive experience in my healing session with Beth Draper. Beth understands this interconnection and seamlessly connects mind, body, spirit. Her training in Reiki, traditional healing and herbal medicine, along with a background in life coaching and her innate empathy, all come together in her healing sessions. She has plenty of wisdom to share, but she never puts words in your mouth, nor does she use generic trendy phrases to explain your own experience. Rather, she is a highly sensitive listener and guide. As the body lets go of stress, it’s natural for emotions to let go as well, for words to spill out, old traumas to shift. All of that happened in my session with Beth. I was suffering from acute back muscle spasms, resulting from chronic back problems, along with years of “holding in my emotions,” as they say. I was amazed at how quickly Beth’s touch located and eased my back pain, and I could feel my body let go of some of the deeper emotional junk it was holding. I was in much less pain when I left, and my back improved slowly but steadily after that. I recommend Beth Draper for anyone who is dealing with chronic pain, and particularly for anyone who seeks a unified healing experience of body, mind, spirit.” – Paul Klemperer, Musician</image:caption>

<image:title>About Beth Experience - Beth Christy Draper</image:title>
<image:caption>Paths of Holistic Healing Facilitation and Deep Nature Connection In 2012, I set out to rediscover my human connection to nature and the land. I attended workshops and programs at the Maine Primitive Skills School, the Delta Institute of Natural History, and Mountainsong Expeditions – learning about botany, wild-foraging, hunting, tracking and rewilding. There, I discovered my passion for wild foods and medicine, ethnobotany and herbal studies. This awakening began a five-year course of self-study followed by the International Herb Symposium and a two-year herbal intensive and plant spirit medicine internship with the Gaia School of Earth Education and Healing. Sage Maurer, Founder and Professor, was my introduction to the medicine lineage of my Celtic and English human and Plant Ancestors from whom I continue to draw my strength. Prior to living in the Monadnock Region of Southern NH, my home and creative work was based in Cape Cod Massachusetts where in 2003 I received a vision to publish Cape Healing Arts (CHA) Magazine in service to the community. CHA magazine brought holistic health practitioners together to connect, educate and amplify their messages of holism, health and healing for the planet. During its eight years of publication, Open Eye Communications and CHA Magazine built local community awareness and connection to each other and our Mother Earth through free publications, online education, holistic conferences, open houses and The Cape & Islands Wellness Expo.
